Why 4Sing?

Forcing? In French, "faire du forcing" is to push something through despite resistance. Certainly we will need to make a strong push to make the world sustainable, but in true Aikido fashion, the key is to use the force of others and to turn it to our advantage.

Four Sing? Well, the Adrian does happen to take singing lessons, and a key part of the process he offers is to help develop harmony in workshops by helping move people into a co-creative environment.

For Sing(apore)? It is true that a lot of work in 2009 is in Singapore, and that this city-state has the tremendous advantage of taking foresight very seriously not just in word but also in deed. But sustainability and security need to be globally handled, if they are really to be achieved.

ForeSight and Strategy for Security and Sustainabililty in Governance? That is it. Getting organisations to realise that the Foresight is about taking account of future opportunities and risks in today's strategies, and that security and sustainability can only be achieved by a new form of holistic thinking which stretches beyond most decision makers' mental time frames.
